David Wayne Harrell
David Wayne Harrell, a resident of Ozark, died Sunday night, April 18, 2010, at his home. He was 67.
A private memorial service will be held at the family residence. Holman-Headland Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Harrell was born and reared in Clarksville, Arkansas, son of the late Lloyd Wayne Harrell and Annah Elizabeth Love Harrell. He lived in various locations in the United States, overseas and Germany before moving to Ozark in 1973. A veteran of the Vietnam War, Mr. Harrell served his country in the United States Army for twenty years before retiring with the rank of Staff Sergeant. After retirement from the military, he attended Alabama Aviation and Technical College in Ozark and was also employed by WestPoint Stevens in Abbeville. Mr. Harrell was preceded in death by two sisters, Donna Barnum and Stephanie Harrell.
Surviving relatives include the love of his life, Antonia Harrell; a daughter, Anna Harrell; two sons, Pedro Harrell and wife, Starla Harrell, all of Skipperville, and Saul Harrell, Ozark; a sister, Mary Beth Finn, Seattle, Washington; two brothers, Larry Harrell, Arizona, and Mike Harrell, Russellville, Arkansas; eight grandchildren, Brandon Harrell and wife, Nicole Harrell, Andrew Moore and wife, Jennifer Moore, Justin Moore and wife, Amy Moore, Rachel Moore, Cera Harrell, Rocky Harrell, Hunter Harrell and Kasey Harrell; four great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Harrell, Lisa Harrell, Kayley Harrell and Justin Moore Jr.
